ACER Aspire One - defective - Aspire ONE AOA 150
Bought an Aspire One for me (grad student) and my son (autism). Six months after purchase the screen cracked. Netbook was still under warranty so I sent it to Repair Center in Texas per ACER Repair Center website(shipping $50+). Received a call from Repair Center stating that cracked screens are not under warranty and that I would have to pay $200+ to get it fixed (which was more than it cost) and if I did not want them to fix it I would have to pay additional shipping fees if I wanted them to send it back. Way to go ACER.

0 I OWN AN ACER 7741Z-4839 SENT IN FOR REPAIR. IT WAS SHIPPED BACK THE SAME DAY WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. SPOKE TO PERSON AND THEY SAID IT WAS STRESS TESTED. HOW INTERESTING SAME DAY TURN AROUND, MUST HAVE NO OTHER COMPUTERS IN FOR REPAIR. ASKED IF IT WAS VISUALLY INSPECTED AND THE ANSWER WAS NO. SNID # 10605502520
0 the same exact thing happened to mine and i've only had it 9 months and had to pay 200. i hope they send it back fixed!
